We wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU for all the support you showed us in 2023. Thanks to you, we can continue empowering 100 Pearl Girls with transformative training and education. Stay tuned for updates on this year's cohort as they embark on the program soon! Here are 5 ways your support makes a lasting impact on the girls in the Pearl Program:
1. Far-reaching support: Your support enables us to reach girls in remote regions of Lesotho who otherwise wouldn't have access to this kind of educational training.
2. Helping girls understand their bodies: Program participants are taught about their rights as a female as well as menstrual health education to understand the changes their bodies are/will go through.
3. Fostering a sense of community: When the girls first join the program, many of them are shy and timid. At the end of the year, they leave the program with a new support system and life-long friends.
4. Boosting confidence and self-esteem: Through impactful activities and informative sessions, the girls develop their confidence skills and learn to stand up for themselves.
5. Empowering girls to create bright futures: The Pearl Program helps girls to understand their potential and equips them with skills to stay on track with their education.
During the 2023 Christmas season, we made a push to bring in donations for as many Gifts That Give Hope as we could. Thanks to the support of so many, we were able to gift 77 GTGH items to those in Lesotho who need them most!
