These brooches are handmade by ‘M’e Malikotsi from Lesotho. Making these pins is the only source of income for her small family. ‘M’e Malikotsi is HIV-positive and struggles with her health constantly. She believes that making these brooches is helping her to stay alive because she uses the money she earns to buy medication. “I am so happy for Help Lesotho giving me work to do this beading. It is important work to show people our need”.
